Silicone-supported base

Base / sensoryDimethicone is one of the most studied topical ingredients in dermatology. A 2014 study showed that common silicone excipients are non-occlusive. They allow water vapour to pass through the skin surface, unlike petrolatum. That is why Cohesion's silicone-supported base creates a smooth, flexible cosmetic layer without trapping moisture against the skin.

No. Cohesion is a cosmetic product for the appearance and condition of the skin. It is not a medicine, does not replace medical care, and is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent a disease or injury.
Do not use Cohesion on open wounds, fresh incisions, infected skin or skin that has not fully closed. After surgery or a procedure, follow the treating clinician's advice about when topical skincare is appropriate.
Patch test first. Begin once daily for several days. If well tolerated, apply twice daily, morning and evening, for best results. There is no upper limit on duration of use; continued application supports ongoing visible improvement.
Skin appearance and individual routines vary, so a fixed result or timeframe cannot be promised. Consistent use and sun protection are important parts of cosmetic skin care.
